1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of The Fifth Leaf Society™, a relationship growth and community platform operated by The Five Leaf Clover, LLC. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By registering, you confirm you are 18 or older and legally able to enter into these Terms.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information at registration and to keep it current. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

The Service offers a paid membership ("Inner Circle") at $5.00 per week, with a free trial period for new members (5 days standard, 14 days for qualifying referrals). Your subscription begins after the trial ends and renews automatically until canceled.

Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled before the renewal date.

Cancellation: You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; you retain access until the end of the current paid period.

Refunds: Trial periods are free. Paid periods are non-refundable except where required by law. To request a refund, contact hello@thefiveleafclover.com.

Founding Privilege: The first 555 paid members ("Founding Members") receive 50% off for 3 months. This rate retires permanently once 555 keys are issued.

5. Acceptable Use and Conduct

By using the Service, you agree to our Community Conduct Pledge. You will not:

• Harass, threaten, or intimidate other members.
• Post abusive, hateful, discriminatory, or sexual content.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
• Share another member's private information without consent.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to disrupt, hack, or reverse-engineer the platform.

Violations may result in content removal, a Temporary Intermission (24-hour suspension), or permanent account termination at our discretion.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create (stories, journal entries, questions, comments). By posting, you grant us a license to display and use that content within the Service. You are solely responsible for your content. We reserve the right to moderate, hide, or remove content that violates these Terms.

7. Photo Moderation

Profile photos are reviewed by an administrator before becoming publicly visible. We may reject photos that are inappropriate, misleading, or that violate these Terms.

8. Platform Not Responsible for Member Connections

The Fifth Leaf Society™ is a community and reflection platform, not a dating service. We are not responsible for any connections, communications, or relationships that form between members inside or outside the Service. You engage with other members at your own risk.

9. No Professional Advice

Content on the Service, including weekly insights, coach Q&A, and game prompts, is provided for general reflection and educational purposes only. It is not medical, psychological, legal, or professional advice. Always seek qualified professional guidance for your specific situation.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, its design, branding, game content, and features are owned by The Five Leaf Clover, LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or for any reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.

12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Five Leaf Clover, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which The Five Leaf Clover, LLC is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
